Who's Eve Dolan, anyway?
Hi, my name is Eve and I’m a web designer from Manchester. In July last year, I graduated with a first-class degree in web design. My university experience allowed me to discover a passion for web and the creative technology industry, while also develop the skills that would make me into a successful and impactful designer. In all my projects, I aspire to make professional standard, functional websites, while making sure they look great! These days, I’m taking on freelance projects to enhance my skillset and stay creative. I love to stay in the loop and recognise current trends in web as well as upcoming software.
So, if you want to know a little about who I am outside of work; I’m a devoted reader, an avid cinemagoer, and the occasional traveller. I love food, and I drink more coffee than I probably should. I like to think I have many great friends, but my dog is my number one. She’s also the most demanding. I go to a quiz night every Thursday, and I’ve still yet to win a round (if that doesn’t show perseverance, I don’t know what will). I can be a bit of a sore loser and consequently, I can’t play monopoly with my family anymore. I love to learn and try new things that will keep me inspired and help me see things from different perspectives – if knowledge helps me win a quiz night, then it’s just an added bonus.
Realistically, there is always something new to learn in the web industry and I’m excited for what’s to come. I remain curious about web design, and this is reflected in the work I produce. I bring fresh ideas, an eye for detail and an open mind to the workspace, and I’d love to see what we can create as a team!
